The 2026 AIAA SciTech Forum was a massive international gathering, drawing participants from institutions and industries across 91 countries. The conference showcased pioneering research from 268 global student branches - spanning aerodynamics, space robotics, and intelligent systems - while offering professional development workshops in leadership and project management.
As an attendee focused on Space Robotics and Automation, I navigated the forum under the mentorship of Dr. Ma, a distinguished professor and 2026 AIAA Associate Fellow. With her guidance, I joined the Space Robotics student committee, providing a unique platform to collaborate closely with academic peers and established faculty.
Furthermore, technical seminars on AI and autonomous aerospace systems facilitated vital networking opportunities with industry and government leaders. A major highlight was my conversation with Dr. Trung Pham, Chief Scientist and Technical Advisor for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Gaining insights from his deep expertise in machine learning and AI safety architecture profoundly deepened my understanding of the future trajectory of aerospace robotics while solidifying my own career aspirations.
