I participated in the Innovation Challenge, where my teammate and I pitched MentorAI, a self-learning AI platform designed to provide academic support outside of office hours. Over the Spring 2025 Semester, we developed our idea through spark sessions, collaborative workshops, and real-world challenges, refining our business model and pitching skills.
Innovation challenge was an intense, hands-on learning experience that introduced me to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from market research and product development to crafting a compelling pitch. Collaborating closely with peers from diverse backgrounds helped me understand the importance of adaptability, teamwork, and creative problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
This experience reshaped my understanding of what it means to be a Global Citizen Scholar. It taught me that global citizenship is not just about cultural awareness, but also about innovating to solve real-world problems and empowering others through technology. Developing MentorAI reinforced the idea that creating accessible educational tools can make a lasting impact, bridging gaps in learning and opportunity. Innovation Challenge inspired me to continue combining entrepreneurial thinking with social responsibility in my future work.
